Obama message to credit card companies

I love this quote about President Obama's meeting today with credi card executives.



“If you are the chairman of Citibank, you don’t want your card guy going in there, because you know, having been there, that the companies will get the s—- beat out of them by the president and Summers,” a Republican credit card lobbyist told POLITICO.


I have some clients that would like to do the same thing to the credit card executives.

Obama to take on credit card issurers

This week, President Obama will meet with executives of banks that issue credit cards. During his campaign, Obama promised that he would bring change to the credit card industry. We will see.

There is a lot of frustration over bailouts going to banks that in turn gouged credit card holders with high interest rates and fees.
